Twisters‘ VOD release date has now been revealed. Directed by Lee Isaac Chung, Twisters serves as a loose sequel to 1996’s Twister, which starred Bill Paxton and Helen Hunt. Glen Powell and Daisy Edgar-Jones lead the Twisters cast as Tyler and Kate, respectively, with a story that follows the pair as they use new technology to attempt to disrupt devastating tornadoes.
Collider now reveals that Twisters‘ VOD release date is set for August 13. The digital release will include special features, deleted scenes, and a gag reel.

A follow-up to the 1996 original film Twister, Twisters is a sequel set years after the original, said to be fast-tracked by Steven Spielberg and Mark L. Smith, with Frank Marshal as producer.
