Speaking to The Hollywood Reporter, Jon Watts explained that after Spider-Man: No Way Home‘s premiere, he realized it was time to move on from the MCU and not direct Spider-Man 4. Check out the full quote below:
“That was such a specific moment in time, and the reaction to that movie was just so unbelievable. It’s never going to be like this, ever again.”
